Kenny Neal, born in New Orleans and raised in Baton
Rouge, began playing music at a young age. Learning the
basics from his father, singer and Blues harmonica
master, Raful Neal. Kenny is known as a modern swamp-
blues master and multi-instrumentalist, that draws
musically from the sizzling sounds of his native
Louisiana.
The gypsy woman told his mother that she had a boy
child coming and he was going to be a man that everyone
would know about. Yes Indeed! She was absolutely
correct. McKinley Morganfield, aka Muddy Waters, came
into this world and changed the world with his brand of
blues. Muddy's gone now but his spirit lives on through
his son, Big Bill Morganfield. Levee Town is a
radiantly hot rockin' Americana foursome out of Kansas
City. Their music ranges from covers of Willie Dixon,
Muddy Waters, Freddie King, Bob Dylan, and Big Joe
Turner, to originals like Go to Heaven, The Winter
song, and Forgive the Intrusion. The sound is a searing
mix of traditional rock n roll, blues, and rockabilly.
