Thursday 7/3
James Harman with the Tablerockers
Harman found the blues early in life, both on black radio and on the street corner: "Radio" Johnson, a local blind street singer who played slide guitar with a knife, was an early influence and collaborator. Harman's professional career began in 1962 after moving to Panama City, Fla. Soon after the move, he discovered like-minded friends, who invited him to black nightclubs to see such performers as Little Junior Parker, Jimmy Reed, Little Milton Campbell, Slim Harpo, Bobby Bland, O.V. Wright, B.B. King, Otis Redding, Solomon Burke, Joe Tex and James Carr. He began hanging out on a regular basis and was eventually asked to sit in by local house bands, becoming known as "that boy who sings like a man."
The Tablerockers are influenced by a variety of musical styles that include Delta blues, Chicago and Texas blues, R & B, soul, rock-a-billy, jazz, funk, rock 'n' roll and even country, all filtered through the Tablerockers' blues sensibilities. The result is a high-powered blues attack featuring the smokin' guitar and soulful vocals of Baby Jason Davis, and the tight grooves provided by Larry Boehmer on bass and David Watson on drums. Guitarist and vocalist, Baby Jason, toured for 10 years with his trio, "Baby Jason and the Spankers".

Saturday 7/5
Grayson Capps and the Stumpknockers
I write songs which have the voice of dead prophets masquerading as town drunks screaming 'look at us we're pretty, too!' I've been playing guitar and singing for nearly twenty years now. I've played theaters, festivals, radio shows, t.v. shows, whiskey-beer crusted barrooms, living rooms, and camp fires. Some people call me a preacher others a poet, a singer, a guitar player, a landscaper,
but I am only an actor strutting and fretting across the stage. I still have to use a shovel. I still have to dig in the dirt. But,
I tell you what, I have a beautiful daughter named Sadie, a house on Music St., and my first solo record coming out in the spring.
Bobby and Fred are dead, but my father is alive and well in Alabama about to have a novel published. No one knows what tomorrow will bring, but songs are still sung by those who continue to sing.

Sunday 7/6
Eric Sardinas
Eric's signature brand of Delta dynamite has been a long time in the making. At the incredible early age of six, he already had his fingers on the fret board. Though born a lefty, he naturally gravitated towards playing the guitar as a right-hander. Admittedly, this could be considered a difficult approach, but it never slowed Sardinas down. In fact, it's actually been a major contributing factor in the formation of his unique style and specialized technique.
