Wednesday 7/9
Scott McKeon (British blues guitarist)
Since picking up his first guitar at the age of four, Scott
McKeon has devoted himself to the mastery of his craft and
can now be considered to be one of the most gifted and
naturally talented guitarist, singer/songwriters emerging
on the UK blues rock scene. He plays with the technical expertise
and passion that is the envy of musicians many years
his senior. Scott made his debut on national television at
the age of just seven and as the 1998 winner of Guitarist
Magazine’s “Young Guitarist of the Year” title, he is already
listed as one of the 27 best blues guitar players in the
world on Google.

Thursday 7/10
The Bluerunners (Cajun)
In 1991 The Bluerunners leapt from Lafayette, Louisiana into
the white-hot glare of the national limelight. Propelled by a
seamless (if seemingly unlikely) blend of frenetic cowpunk
originals and traditional Cajun music, The Bluerunners'
self-titled major label album earned the group rave reviews
in rock circles and an important niche in the rich
musical history of South Louisiana.
Critics praised The Bluerunners' making favorable
comparisons to the likes of The Band, and Los Lobos.
Years on the road, and four studio albums later, The Bluerunners
shine radiant once again, thanks to their glowing
new album, LIVE at The Triple Door.

Friday 7/11
Dale Watson (Country)
"...the kind of stuff country music legends are made of..." - Austin Chronicle
Dale Watson isn't one to uphold the music industry's
status quo. He's moving forward on his own terms and
true to his own convictions. Even with frequent proclamations
declaring him one of country music's last authentic
voices (like that in Crazy Again--a recent documentary
on Watson's life--when a fan declares, "son, you play country
like country was when country was country"), Watson
is done with the "C" word and what it's come to represent
in modern times. So much so that he's created his
own genre, simply called Ameripolitan.

Saturday 7/12
Charlie Musselwhite (Blues)
It's Charlie's mix of wild country abandon seasoned by years of
playing urban electric blues in Chicago that spurs the likes of
Ben Harper, Tom Waits and Gov't Mule to welcome Musselwhite
onto their stages and records. That same brash, blues/
rock rebel vibe was Dan Aykroyd's inspiration for his Elwood
Blues persona, and it's what has won Musselwhite a pile of blues
awards and earned the admiration and respect of his own heroes:
Howlin' Wolf, John Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters.
John Lee was even the best man at Charlie's wedding.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to helpgaff.com to aid the family of Chris Gaffney.
