Kenny 'Blues Boss' Wayne
"There's no boogie woogie-blues piano man out there today who pounds the 88s with the conviction of Kenny "Blues Boss" Wayne" Jeff Johnson - Chicago Sun Times
The influence of rock legends Fats Dominoand Johnnie Johnson play a key role on the record. Wayne is well known for his boogie woogie capabilities but as noted blues piano historian Barry Dolins observes, Kenny's piano work has more of a jump sound rock'n'roll base versus a strictly blues base. Dolins, who has coordinated the Chicago Blues Festival since 1984, says "It's a sound influenced by Amos Milburn, Bill Doggett, and Johnny Otis. There's another instrument at which he excels: his richly warm and gritty voice. Oh, and he's got a third vital element working for him: the look." One of the true "missing links" between the past and modern-day blues piano players, Kenny Wayne has taken the music of past masters and welded a style all his own" Music City Blues Society. "You'll jump, you'll jive and have a great time as Kenny "Blues Boss" Wayne does his boogie woogie piano/singing and performing with a panache evoking Champion Jack Dupree"

Now one of the most celebrated groups in modern blues history One of the earliest of British blues bands, SAVOY BROWN (with founder guitarist and longtime member Kim Simmonds at the helm) helped launch the UK blues/rock movement that paved the way for such acts as Led Zeppelin.
Damon Fowler
Born and raised in Brandon Florida just outside of Tampa, Damon first picked up the guitar at the age of 12.After being shown a few chords, it was apparent that he was a natural. While his friends were listening to the music flavor of the month, Damon was digging into the Blues, and was soon playing small clubs in and around the Tampa Bay area. Years later with thousands of shows behind him, you've got one of the most unique and seasoned acts on the national circuit.
