We've got a great lineup for you, including our new Comedy Night with Elliott Threatt and friends, King King, TUF, Ron Thompson and the Resistors, and winding up your week with the second annual Rockabilly Luau.

Comedy Night at Knuckleheads
Start the week off with a good laugh! Join emcee Grammy Award Nominee Elliott Threat as he brings you the best in Kansas City comedy. Show starts at 7PM.

King King
King King is a Kansas City based power trio combination playing rockabilly, blues and American roots music in and around the Midwest to sold out shows. 7:30 to 10:30 No Cover!

Ron Thompson and The Resistors
Tommy Castro said, “Playing the blues in the Bay Area, I had many opportunities to see Ron perform. It's hard to describe the feeling you get from one of his shows, but it's a lot like when I witnessed one of the greats, like Buddy Guy, Albert Collins or Elvin Bishop. He plays a different style than those guys, but the power and soul that comes across when he plays has a similar effect on me. I was happy to find out that Ron and His Resistors were booked on the Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise. He did the West Coast proud. I sat next to Lonnie Brooks during one of Ron's shows. Lonnie looked over at me and said, ‘This guys a monster, how come I don't know who he is?’ I got a kick out of that.”

Andy Grigg, music critic for Real Blues magazine, wrote in the 2005 August issue: “If you haven’t experienced Ron T. ‘live’ I can’t even begin to convey the absolute go-for-broke Blues rave-ups and sweat-soaked pandemonium Thompson and his Resistors dispense on a nightly basis… When it comes to slide guitar workouts, I would say he's the Best in the World, and yet the man sings his ass off too.”

Thompson received Real Blues magazine’s 2004 awards for Best Live West Coast Blues Act, Best West Coast Blues Slide Guitarist, and Best West Coast Blues Guitarist/Modern. He was nominated for a Grammy for his album, Resister Twister. Thompson also won two Bay Area Music Awards (Bammies) and has reaped countless other awards and accolades.

Ron and the Resistors will burn up the stage, starting at 8:30PM

TUF
Trampled Under Foot has been playing music for most of their lives. The product of a musical household, their parents, Lisa Swedlund and the late Robert Schnebelen, were part of a highly noted blues band called "Little Eva & The Works", in Kansas City, Missouri during the early 1990's.

Originally from Kansas City, "TUF" has been touring the Mid-West and the East Coast for the last several years, playing such notable clubs as "The Stone Pony" in New Jersey; "The Bitter End" in New York; and "The Grape Street Pub" in Philadelphia, as well as many notable national blues summer concert events.
