Founded in 1979 by guitarist / keyboardist / accordionist Carl Finch, they have been a prominent fixture in the Texas music scene for more than twenty-five years. Friday 4/3
Carolyn Wonderland & Mike McClure
A triple threat with her diverse songwriting, soulful vocals, and guitar goddess status — all featured on over twenty CDs, six of which are her releases — she has a pedigree in this business that’s hard to match. A bit of a renegade, she likes to incorporate elements of Blues, Country, Swing, Zydeco, Surf, Gospel, Soul, and some nights, maybe even a Cumbia into the musical mix...
Without Mike McClure, the Red Dirt music that we know and love today would most certainly have a different sound to it. He began shaping that sound over a decade ago as the front man of The Great Divide. He continued shaping it as one of the most sought after producers of Red Dirt bands.

Asleep At The Wheel
Asleep At The Wheel earned six Grammy Awards, kept a buzz on a genre that might be described as "fringe," while maintaining a musical integrity that's never waivered. They have won nine Grammy Awards since their inception in 1970. In their career, they have released more than twenty studio albums, and have charted more than twenty singles on the Billboard country charts. "Asleep at the Wheel's take on Western swing should be especially interesting to fans of early 20th-century American popular music. Their fidelity to the source material means that traces of jazz swing, ragtime and Dixieland are preserved as if in amber, sounding much as they did in the '30s and '40s." - Washington Times

The Perpetrators (Rock / Blues / Garage)
with special guest Trailer Park Jackson
Once a not-so-well-kept secret in their hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada - where they acted as house band for visiting blues legends Hubert Sumlin, Louisiana Red, Paul "Wine" Jones and others - The Perpetrators kicked things up a notch in 2006. A European tour capped off a Juno nomination and a win at the Western Canadian Music Awards. 2007 saw the band continue to expand and grow with the release their third album, "Tow Truck" (nominated for WCMA's for oustanding blues and independant album), the recording of their just-released live album, 2008's "Live at the High & Lonesome Club" and a very successful second European tour which including the recording of live radio specials in Germany and Belgium. So far this year, they have put 50,000 km on their van and toured Europe twice. Work is underway for their next record and they plan to head into the studio early in 2009.
Trailer Park Jackson
..." a person would not only have to dream big but also have a lot of luck to live the life of Jon Jackson. He's singer-songwriter by day, Vanderbilt nurse by night. Now he's added the title of congressional hopeful to his resume."

David Olney w/ Sergio Webb
with special guest the Scissormen
"Over an impressive professional career spanning four decades,
David Olney has built a reputation not as a kind-hearted troubadour,
but rather as a performing songwriter with a sharp literary mind that often cuts to the bone of the human condition. Whether the subject matter is heartbreak or armed robbery, Olney's cinematic style and fearless approach to lyric writing have won him a reputation as a kind of musical outlaw. Listening to his new CD,One Tough Town, is like watching a Sergio Leone western: it's gritty, smart and dangerous and you can't take your eyes off the screen.
