Merle Jam

Well the Merle Jam was a huge success is landed the St Lukes heart dept a little over $7000.00 which is great for a one day event and the first one at that. For those of you, who didn’t attend, wow what a fun day it lasted 12 hours and had some of the best Kansas City talent. And Merle now there’s one helluva guy Merle just received a long awaited heart transplant this Feb. Merle has a very positive attitude and healthy outlook on life he is a very strong man mentally he held his own heart in his hands after the surgery and he was recovered he was up working on the Merle jam in his Hospital room just a week after the transplant that’s incredible most men including myself would be wining and feeling sorry for their self’s but not Merle no he was planning the rest of his new life he now has a new heart and a new love (Kim) and he is figuring out what he can do next.

Hat’s off to Merle most people could not under go all that he has God bless him and all of you that help make the Merle Jam a success and this is the 1st annual event to benefit the heart foundation we will do it annually on the first Saturday of May
